Yes—fencing can be installed on concrete, paving slabs or patios using specialised techniques. Instead of digging traditional post holes, we use bolt-down post supports designed specifically for solid surfaces.
These supports anchor posts securely to the existing surface without the need for excavation. They are ideal for courtyards, patios, roof terraces and properties where ground digging is not possible or practical. We use heavy-duty supports and stainless-steel fixings to ensure stability.
For maximum strength, especially with taller fences, we may recommend cutting through the paving where possible to create deeper post foundations. This allows posts to withstand stronger wind loads. The area is then repaired neatly once installation is complete.
Closeboard, composite and slatted fencing can all be installed on hard surfaces using these methods. We ensure all posts are aligned, levelled and reinforced for long-term performance.
During your consultation, we assess the surface, thickness of the concrete and fence height requirements to determine the most suitable installation method.
